A spray co-precipitation method was developed to efficiently synthesize Nd:YAG nano-powders. The effects of spray speeds and solution concentrations on the crystallization processes of calcined precursors have been studied. The results indicated that the pure phase of YAG could be obtained by three different crystallization processes owing to different homogeneity levels of Y and Al mixing. Pure YAG powder was obtained at 850?°C and the phase purity persisted to 1600?°C. Using the obtained powders, transparent ceramics with the in-line transmittance up to 80.2%@400 nm and 83.1%@1064?nm were fabricated by gel-casting method and hot isostatic pressing sintering. Furthermore, the microstructure and laser properties of the transparent ceramics have been measured. The maximum laser output of 7.015?W has been obtained with an oscillation threshold and a slope efficiency of 0.235?W and 59.4%, respectively. 相似文献

The properties of ZrO2 co-stabilized by CeO2 and TiO2 ceramic bulks were investigated for potential thermal barrier coating (TBC) applications. Results showed that the (Ce0.15Tix)Zr0.85-xO7 (x?=?0.05, 0.10, 0.15) compositions with single tetragonal phase were more stable than the traditional 8YSZ at 1573?K. These compositions also showed a large thermal expansion coefficient (TEC) and a high fracture toughness, which were comparable to those of YSZ. However, the phase stability, fracture toughness and sintering resistance of the CeO2-TiO2-ZrO2 system showed a decline tendency with the increase of TiO2 content. The TEC of the ceramic bulks decreased with increase of TiO2 content as well because the crystal energy was enhanced with increasing substitution of Zr4+ by smaller Ti4+. The (Ce0.15Ti0.05)Zr0.8O2 had the best comprehensive properties among the (Ce0.15Tix)Zr0.85-xO2 compositions as well as a low thermal conductivity. The PbClxS1-x and Pb1-xBixS (x? =?0–0.05) bulks were fabricated with a facile method of hydrothermal synthesis and microwave sintering, and the effect of anionic and cationic donors on the thermoelectric performance of PbS was investigated. Although Cl? and Bi3+ both effectively improved the thermoelectric properties of n-type PbS, more excellent thermoelectric performance was obtained from Cl? doped samples because of higher electrical property and lower thermal conductivity at higher temperature (T? >?600?K). The thermoelectric figure of merit (ZT) reaches 1.04 for PbCl0.015S0.985 at 800?K and increases with temperature increasing without sign of saturation, which is probably the highest value ever reported for single-phase polycrystalline n-type PbS. The results also indicate that the hydrothermal synthesis and microwave sintering can realize anion doping as well as cation doping for n-type PbS at low cost, and PbS should be a robust alternative for PbTe thermoelectric materials. 相似文献

In order to obtain a pH‐sensitive delivery carrier for doxorubicin (DOX), DOX‐loaded polyurethane (PU·DOX) nanoparticles were readily prepared in water by electrostatic interactions between amphiphilic polyurethane with carboxyl pendent groups (PU‐COOH) and doxorubicin hydrochloride (DOX·HCl). The structures of the products obtained were characterized by Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy, 1H NMR spectroscopy, gel permeation chromatography, UV–visible spectroscopy, dynamic light scattering and transmission electron microscopy. The average hydrodynamic size of the PU·DOX nanoparticles was around 182 nm with negative surface charge (?1.1 mV) and a spherical or rodlike shape. PU·DOX nanoparticles had a higher drug‐loading content of 14.1 wt%. The in vitro drug release properties of PU·DOX nanoparticles were investigated at pH 4.0, 5.0 and 7.4, respectively. PU·DOX nanoparticles exhibited a good pH‐sensitive drug release property, but there was almost no release of DOX from PU·DOX nanoparticles at pH 7.4. The in vitro cellular uptake assay and the Cell Counting Kit‐8 assay demonstrated that PU·DOX nanoparticles had a higher level of cellular internalization and higher inhibitory effects on the proliferation of human breast cancer (MCF‐7) cells than pure DOX. The enhancement of the inhibition effects resulted from increasing apoptosis‐inducing effects on MCF‐7 cells, which was related to the enhancement of Bax expression and the reduction of Bcl‐2 expression confirmed by terminal deoxynucleotidyl transferase mediated dUTP nick end labeling (TUNEL) assay, real‐time polymerase chain reaction (PCR) assay and western blot assay. © 2018 Society of Chemical Industry 相似文献

Carbohydrates and their conjugates play important roles in many biological processes including fertilization, differentiation, development, immune response, and infection. Their activities are largely dependent on the properties of terminal mono‐ or disaccharides. Galactose, mannose, fucose, glucose, sialic acid, etc., are commonly used as powerful scaffolds installed on drug molecules for targeting specific tissues including brain, liver, and cancers, and as epitopes for enhancing the targeting of various vaccines. This review focuses on the influence of their structural variations, including changes in sugar type, substituent groups and their positions, as well as length of linker portion, on the targeting of drugs or their efficacy. Utilization of bionics to develop stimuli responsive polymers that can heal damage with excellent restorability is particularly attractive for a sustainable society. Herein, inspired by chameleons, a hierarchical structural design strategy is proposed and illustrated to fabricate a healable photochromic material based on a self‐healable polymeric matrix and a finely dispersed photochromic spirooxazine. The self‐healable polymeric matrix is fabricated via the integration of multiple hydrogen bonds (H bonds) and covalent cross‐links into a biomass‐derived elastomer. The dynamic nature and soft characteristics enable the as‐prepared elastomer superior extensibility as well as self‐healing ability, while the covalent cross‐links can assist the reassociation of ruptured H bonds. The representative elastomer exhibits an extensibility of 2600% and toughness of 42.76 MJ m?3. Furthermore, it shows good self‐healing ability with complete recovery of scratch as well as restoration against 1900% of elongation and 24.1 MJ m?3 of toughness after healing at 60 °C for 24 h. This combination of moderate toughness, good self‐healing ability, and smart photochromic property in biomass‐derived materials should largely improve their applicability, reliability, and sustainability in various materials and devices. 相似文献

通过光学显微镜、扫描电镜和硬度测试等分析手段研究了在1250 ℃下扩散保温不同时间对W元素在TiAl合金中扩散行为的影响。结果表明:试样在1250 ℃下进行扩散不同时间后,渗层界面处连接良好,可观察到明显的冶金结合。扩散层厚度随扩散时间的延长而增加,扩散4 h后可得到约15 μm厚的渗层,扩散24 h后可得到约45 μm厚的渗层,此外较长的扩散时间(24 h)可显著改善界面处的裂纹和气孔等缺陷。W在TiAl合金中的扩散机制主要为置换和空位扩散,且W和Ti的原子半径和热膨胀系数等存在差异,使得晶格畸变的出现并进一步阻碍了W元素的扩散。显微硬度试验结果表明W在TiAl合金中进行扩散,可以增强TiAl合金的硬度,且硬度值随W含量的增大而增大。 相似文献

ABSTRACT The circular-patch welding test was used to study the liquation and liquation cracking of AZ-series Mg alloys. A heat treatment was carried out on the as-received AZ91 alloy to dissolve the γ(Mg17Al12) particles before welding. The circular-patch welding test was then conducted on the heat-treated, as-received AZ91 alloy using AZ61 and AZ91 filler wires. The results showed that the susceptibility of AZ91 alloy to liquation and liquation cracking was significantly reduced by the dissolution of massive γ(Mg17Al12) particles via a heat treatment before welding as the liquation mechanism was changed. Both constitutional liquation and incipient melting occurred in the partially melted zone of the as-received AZ91 welds, while only incipient melting occurred in the heat-treated AZ91 welds. 相似文献
